The Sheep

We have three sheep at the moment, Thordis (the ewe), Braggy (the ram), and Burton Guster (Gus for short, our younger ram). They are Icelandic Sheep and greatly enjoy sitting under trees and eating oats.

The Dogs

We have three dogs, Bob, Clover, and Frances. They are very good.

The Chickens

We have nineteen hens and one rooster. Some of them have names, but the ones who all look the same (the barred rocks) are just referred to as the barred rocks. The ones who do have names are as follows:

• The Rooster- Jeff Lebowski (the dude)
• The larger Rhode Island Red- Emma Jay
• The Smaller Rhode Island Red- Captain Marvel
• The Americana/Captain Marvel’s best friend- Edie
• The Araucanas- Stella and Luna (Luna is slightly lighter)
• The White Leghorn- Ritz
• The Ukrainian Silver-Laced Chicken (were not sure what breed she is but she is large and not a silver-laced wyandotte)- Chicken Kiev
• The rest of the flock- referred to by breed and other physical descriptors

The Cats

We have two cats, Abel and Baker who were found on our property during a labor day party, we know the mother of the cats (we call her Louis) and that she had a litter of four kittens this summer but she wandered off with them at some point and we have yet to find them all. Louis likes to occasionally sit in our dumpster and we sometimes see the other kittens but have yet to catch them.
